The above 2 conditions are caused by Virus. Warts are caused by HPV virus infection of the skin. Warts are rough seed like projections from the skin, with black dots on the surface. Rubbing the Warts with an emery paper results in pinpoint bleeding. Warts are located mostly on the hand and can spread to other parts of the body by auto-inoculation or close contact.

MolluscumContagiosum are umbilicated papules on the skin. Spread is by contact or auto-inoculation. Contaminated Scissors, Combs, Towels and other toiletries in hostels, camps and salons can be a cause.
